Going out with a bang! The Sir Rebral Seven went 4-3 (57%) this weekend. Before I break down these games, I’m excited to announce that all of my picks will be released for free for Wild Card weekend. Stay tuned later this week for all those predictions.

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: DET -3.5 v MIN

Final Score: Lions 30 Vikings 20

Score Projection: Lions 30 Vikings 17

An almost perfect score projection. The Vikings showed recently that they didn’t have much success stopping Detroit, and alas, the Lions easily scored 30 points at home to finish off the year.

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: ARI +2.5 v SEA

Final Score: Seahawks 21 Cardinals 20

Score Projection: Cardinals 26 Seahawks 21

The Cardinals managed to get a 30 yard field goal blocked with just a few minutes left, which left the door open for the Seahawks to go down and win the game. The Cardinals still covered, which was fitting since they led for most of the contest. As predicted, Arizona is just a better team right now, as they outgained Seattle by 150 yards. 

❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: KC LAC Over 35

Final Score: Chiefs 13 Chargers 12

I gave the backups way too much credit. The Chargers couldn’t score touchdowns, and the Chiefs only touchdown was a 95 yard fumble return! 

❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: JAX TEN Under 42

Final Score: Titans 28 Jaguars 20

Score Projection: Jaguars 20 Titans 13 

Tennessee has been one of the more unpredictable teams of the year. Usually they are quite awful, but they showed out at home one last time to spoil Jacksonville’s season and knock them out of playoff contention. All 4 of their scores were touchdowns, which ruined the under bet.

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: TB -4.5 @ CAR

Final Score: Buccaneers 9 Panthers 0

This one was ugly, but Tampa got it done against a dead Panthers squad. Although I figured their offense might have some trouble against a Panthers defense that has been pretty good, I certainly thought they would score more than 9!

❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: CHI +3 @ GB

Final Score: Packers 17 Bears 9

If you told me the Packers only scored 17, I would have felt great about the Bears pick. Alas, their offense stalled after what had been a good and consistent run over the last month. It happens.

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: NO -3 v ATL

Final Score: Saints 48 Falcons 17

Finally a slam dunk. Although it started off dicey with two big Falcons TDs in the first quarter, things balanced out and then some the remainder of the game, as the Saints showed they have the Falcons defense figured out more than anyone else in the league, quite possibly.
