5-1-1. Big Weekend for Cerebral Bettors.

Recapping Week 5's Sir Rebral Seven

What a WEEK! Sure, Thursday Night Football didn’t go as planned, but man oh man, Sunday did. If you’re like me, listened to my selects, and employed a volume betting strategy, you won big this weekend.

My Sir Rebral Seven clocked in with an impressive 5-1-1 (83%)! I was 9-4 (69%) this week on Over/Unders and 15-10-1 (60%) overall.

Wondering why I picked these seven selects for Week 5? Come enter my thought process and let me walk you through all my predictions on YouTube.

Now, let’s dive into this record-breaking Sir Rebral Seven.

The Sir Rebral Seven

SIR REBRAL SELECT: MIA -11 v NYG

Cerebral Index Rating: 98 (out of maximum 100)

As expected in this one, it was JV versus Varsity. The Dolphins out-yarded the Giants by about 300 yards, and the only reason they didn’t win by 30 was because they messed around and turned it over 3 times, one of which a 102 yard pick 6 to the Giants! Easy win for Miami.

SIR REBRAL SELECT: WSH -6 v CHI

Cerebral Index Rating: 97

We talked about this one in the preview email, but to reiterate, the outcome unfortunately wasn’t as predicted. The Commanders defense had a complete and total breakdown in the first half, as the Bears picked them apart en route to their first win in over a YEAR! Maybe it had something to do with Dick Butkus passing away shortly before kickoff. RIP The Enforcer!

SIR REBRAL SELECT: NYJ @ DEN OVER 43

Cerebral Index Rating: 97

As predicted, any team facing the Broncos defense right now is going to get a ton of yards. The Jets flew past 400 yards on the day, en route to a 31-21 road victory.

SIR REBRAL SELECT: BAL @ PIT UNDER 38.5

Cerebral Index Rating: 96%

This game was picture perfect: ugly, AFC North showdown between two teams that know how to stop each other well. The Ravens scored 10 points in the first quarter, only to be shut out the rest of the game! The Steelers 17 was enough to get it done and the under was never a sweat, as this was the lowest scoring game of the week with 27 combined points.

SIR REBRAL SELECT: GB @ LV UNDER 45

Cerebral Index Rating: 96

Neither team eclipsed 300 yards in this matchup, and both teams used up tons of clock each possession running the ball. Touchdowns have been hard to come by for these teams to start the year, and nothing was different on Monday night football. This under was the second lowest scoring game of the week, Raiders winning 17-13 in an ugly one.

🔄SIR REBRAL SELECT: HOU +2 @ ATL

Cerebral Index Rating: 95

Although I would have liked for the Texans to convert some of their many FGs into TDs in this one to win outright, they still gave a good effort and this one ended up being a push. CJ Stroud continues his streak of no interceptions to start his career. The Falcons defense has surpassed my expectations for sure, which definitely had a lot to do with the resistance to the Texans punching in TDs in the red zone.

SIR REBRAL SELECT: NYJ +2 @ DEN

Cerebral Index Rating: 95

As we had seen in recent weeks, the offensive line of the Jets had held up and they were able to move the ball well, especially on a league-worst Denver defense. Their team was clearly more coherent than Denver’s heading into this matchup, and they proved me right and got the job done.

🙅‍♂️SIR REBRAL STAY AWAY🙅‍♂️: CIN -3 v ARI

Don’t touch this spread!

A few things didn’t go Arizona’s way in the 3rd quarter, which led to the Bengals being able to pull away and win this game. But the first half was back and forth with TD drives and was very competitive, it seemed like Arizona might win the game outright. Burrow finally got going with some deep balls, en route to a huge game for him and Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals have life.
