Before the weekend, I let all of my brilliant Sir Rebral Subjects take a peek into my strategy. My brainchild –– 💨The Sir Rebral Steam Sensor💨 –– analyzes line movements throughout the week to bring you the strongest Over/Under predictions. 

This strategy crushed the O/U market this weekend, landing a whopping 67% win rate across my full slate of Over/Unders. That’s what I call a strategy that delivers. 

Let’s breakdown the Sir Rebral Seven (and, of course, present the full slate of Week 15 picks).

The Sir Rebral Seven

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: IND -1.5 v PIT

Final Score: Colts 30 Steelers 13

Just as planned, the Steelers had no chance at stopping the Colts, their brilliant offense, and fierce run game. Indy ran it almost every single play! Despite the 13-0 start by Pittsburgh (thanks to a blocked punt), the Colts turned it around and scored 30 unanswered to win it easily. 

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: CAR +3 v ATL

Final Score: Panthers 9 Falcons 7

I’ll be honest, I expected at least ONE of these teams to score double digits, but the rain brought out the ugliest in these two teams. However, the Panthers defense far surpassed my predictions. Even though they measured up to my expectations in terms of moving the ball, their 3 good drives all ended in field goals. But that was plenty against a Falcons team who cannot play out of their element on the road. 

❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: BAL JAX Over 42.5

Final Score: Ravens 23 Jaguars 7

This select fell flat, despite the fact that yardage output should correspond to overall points scored. These teams combined for 800 yards of offense, but only came out with 30 total points because of incessant missed field goals and turnovers. Brutal, brutal, brutal!

❌❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: TEN -3, HOU TEN Over 38 

Final Score: Texans 19 Titans 16

Score projection: Titans 29 Texans 19

Houston’s solid performance on offense amassed over 300 yards, roughly what I expected against a bad Titans defense. But Tennessee stalled horribly, digressing from their recent trends. They finished with less than 300 yards of offense, costing both sides of my picks. 

✅SIR REBRAL SELECT: SF -12.5 @ ARI

Final Score: 49ers 45 Cardinals 29

It’s a no-brainer that the 49ers would score nearly every drive, and score touchdowns on all of those drives. Sure enough, they did, minus one measly punt. That being said, Arizona themselves proved competent on offense, gaining about 400 yards and opened the game with a touchdown drive. But as the quarters played out, the Cardinals’ lack of defense showed, and they got worked hard. 

❌SIR REBRAL SELECT: DEN +4.5 @ DET 

Final Score: Lions 42 Broncos 17

Although the Lions defense had been reeling for over a month, this Broncos team just doesn’t get up and down the field on offense enough to exploit Detroit and their lack of defense. This was a bad matchup for Denver, and moreover, it was the third of a 3-game road stretch for them. This game was never even close. 

🙅‍♂️SIR REBRAL STAY AWAY🙅‍♂️: MIA -8.5 v NYJ

Don’t touch this spread! 

The Jets got back to their usual ways, completely dying on offense yet again. They had less than 50 yards of offense through the mid third quarter! This team is ready to hit the golf course, that’s for sure. Although my speculation that Miami has flaws that will cost them soon enough, this matchup was not one where those issues were going to come into play. The Jets offensive line is just bad, and the Dolphins blitzing got to them, to the tune of 7 sacks. It was a bloodbath.
