Wow. We made it. The final week of the regular season. It’s bittersweet. Playoffs are around the corner (and, I don’t know about you, but playoff season hits harder than the holidays for me). I’m ready for the highest of highs of playoff football. But that also means that this first incredible season as Sir Rebral is coming to a close soon. Don’t worry, I’m not slowing down. Coming off of Week 17’s 60% on spreads💪🤑, I’m ready to deliver another week of top-notch analysis to round out the season. 

As a special bonus for Week 18, I’m bringing not 1, not 2, but EIGHT STAYAWAYS to the slate. These picks are ones you definitely want to avoid this weekend. We are only a few weeks removed from the first matchup between these two squads, and the Vikings defense showed that they had no answers for the Lion offense. Not only that, but now the Vikings quarterback situation is way more dicey. Take the Lions to execute their final regular season game at home as they fight for better playoff seeding.

Score projection: Cardinals 26 Seahawks 21

These teams are on opposite ends of momentum swings right now. The Cardinals are clearly trying their best, coming off a win in Philadelphia and showing that their offense has a lot of life with Kyler Murray at the helm. Meanwhile in Seattle, there is something seriously wrong, as they just gave up 450 yards of offense to the Steelers. Give me the Cardinals to win this one easily.

Score projection: Chargers 24 Chiefs 16

The Chiefs have locked up their playoff seed, so they are resting starters this week. What does it mean when a team's backups are playing on defense? The other team will score a solid amount. In the case of the Chargers, a “solid amount” means 24, and that’s assuming they get a big defensive play because the Chiefs will turn it over more than once.

Score projection: Jaguars 20 Titans 13

The Titans offense has been dead for almost all of the season, and they face a Jaguars defense this week that looks like they might finally be organized against both the run and the pass. I’m not counting on the Titans to score much, and the Jaguars are certainly no juggernaut right now either.

👑SIR REBRAL SELECT🧠: TB -4.5 @ CAR

Score projection: Buccaneers 23 Panthers 13

The Panthers have been a pure dumpster fire this year, from start to finish. I think they will finish off the year with one last stinker, as they are coming off a shutout against a bad Jacksonville team last week. There is no reason to think they should cover more than half the time. Whatever doubts people have about Tampa after a stinker of their own last week, must be outweighed by the sheer incompetence we have seen in Charlotte this season. With Baker Mayfield seeking a $1 million bonus if he leads the team to an NFC South title, the Buccaneers have every reason to dominate this win-and-in finale.

Score projection: Bears 25 Packers 23

The Bears have been a legitimately good team for over a month now, playing well on both sides of the ball. I think they have the edge on the Packers on both offense and defense, and will definitely be looking to play spoiler this week as the Packers need to win to get into the Wild Card. While the Packers have also improved over this second half of the season, I think the Bears have even more. Should be a great division matchup!

Score projection: Saints 25 Falcons 19

When the Saints played earlier in the year in Atlanta, they moved the ball with ease, amassing over 400 yards of offense. It was a strange outcome, as they ended up with 5 FGs and no TDs for only 15 points and lost as a result. But coming off their best performance of the season last week, I think they are in a good spot to move the ball well against a Falcons team, who they already proved they can exploit on defense. Moreover, Atlanta has been a terrible road team, so it’s hard to bet on them this week.
