What a week this was. A bit of a mixed bag thanks to an NFL record 13 overs hitting this week. On average, there are usually 9 Unders and 7 Overs every week. What happened in Week 2 had a 1% chance of occurring. Still, I managed to go 10-5-1 against the spread (67%). The atrocious 5-11 record against OUs will surely be an anomaly. Two weeks in, I’m 34-25-1 (58%) overall.

I’ll recap Week 2’s Sir Rebral Seven over on my YouTube channel for a quick rundown of what I got right and what I got wrong. In the meantime, here’s a taste of my recap analysis.

The Sir Rebral Seven

🔄 SIR REBRAL SELECT: GB +1 @ ATL

• Push. Luckily the line moved to +3 by game time, so hopefully this one hit for you.

• Looking back on my own analysis, I gave the Packers too much credit for their defense and I underrated the Falcons ability to bounce back from a not-so-hot Week 1.

❌ SIR REBRAL SELECT: CHI @ TB Under 41

• Justin Fields had to be Justin Fields and throw a pick six to push this over.

• I gave the Bucs defense more credit than they deserved and, on the flip side, I banked on TB's offense being worse than it was.

❌ SIR REBRAL SELECT: LAC -2.5 @ TEN

• The Titans had no offense, but the Chargers shot themselves in the foot. It’s tough to factor in teams making stupid penalties.

• Titans got the win, even though -- in my eyes -- the Chargers are the better team.

✅ SIR REBRAL SELECT: BAL +3.5 @ CIN

• The Ravens took care of business, only giving up 17 pts to the Bengals.

• All I can say -- really good offense and defense showing from the Ravens.

❌ SIR REBRAL SELECT: NYJ @ DAL Under 38.5

• This Over/Under was just 1.5 points shy of the real outcome.

• I knew the Jets would struggle, but 4 turnovers by the Jets really set up the Cowboys to fly. Those excessive turnovers fed into the over.

✅ SIR REBRAL SELECT: MIA @ NE Under 46.5

• What a game. A 21-point 4th quarter.

• It was inevitable that the Patriots would find time to slow down that offense. Luckily for the Dolphins, they have good running backs.

• Almost a perfect score prediction. The final score came in at Dolphins 24, Patriots 17. I had predicted Dolphins 23, Patriots 16.

❌ SIR REBRAL SELECT: DET -4.5 v SEA

• This imperfect prediction has a lot to do with the Chiefs starting slow in their matchup against the Lions in Week 1. Straight up, the Lions weren't as good as I thought. Dan Campbell got outcoached.

• I should have used history to know the Seahawks are resilient.

✅ SIR REBRAL STAY AWAY: CLE -2.5 @ PIT

• Aren’t you glad you stayed away from this one?

• The Browns turned over 4x and the Steelers gave up 400 yds to the Browns, really unpredictable mess.
